How CVJinny uses AI in your CV

Your CV runs through five AI stages, each with a specific job and a guardrail.

✓Parse your typed, spoken, or uploaded inputs into structured facts (the only source of truth for everything that follows).

✓Draft the CV in your chosen output language using country-specific format rules.

✓Draft a matching cover letter that pulls only from facts already in the CV.

✓Run validators that catch fabricated claims, banned phrases, and locale drift — and re-prompt the AI if any fail.

✓Score how AI-detectable the output reads (Honesty Score) and render the final PDF.

We use task-specific models for task-specific jobs. Translation is split from generation by design.

✓Google Gemini (or admin-configured equivalent — Claude, GPT, Llama) for CV/cover-letter generation, ATS scoring, and interview prep.

✓Google Translate for UI strings only — never for your CV content.

✓An in-house honesty classifier (heuristic + small ML) for the Honesty Score; never used to decide your CV — only to inform you.

Only what's needed to draft your CV — and we never sell it.

✓What you typed, spoke, or uploaded as input (name, contact, education, experience).

✓The generated CV, cover letter, Honesty Score, and per-section breakdown.

✓Generation metadata — country, language, layout, IP-resolved country at request time, AI provider used. Stored under EU AI Act Article 12 technical-documentation rules.

Your data lives in our database until you delete it. We never silently expire active CVs.

✓Active accounts: indefinite while you're a customer.

✓Deleted accounts: purged within 30 days from primary storage; tombstone metadata for fraud-prevention retained 12 months then deleted.

✓Backups: rolling 90 days; deleted CVs purged from backups at next backup-rotation cycle.

✓Account settings — the Export button downloads everything we have on you.

You have the right to be forgotten. Two clicks.

✓Data deletion request — purges within 30 days; you receive an email confirmation.

Monthly statistical audit of the pipeline under EU AI Act Articles 9 + 15.

✓Cron runs on the 1st of every month at 04:00 UTC.

✓Samples ~500 recent generations stratified by purpose × country × inferred gender × age bucket.

✓Each audit is a PDF filed in our admin archive; ask via /contact for the latest one.

AI drafts, you decide. We surface every signal so you can intervene before sharing.

✓You review the draft in the wizard's final step and can edit any field.

✓Honesty Score is shown BEFORE the Download button — you see the number and the per-section breakdown.

✓When you accept a Polish suggestion (e.g. 'add a number to this bullet'), we show a side-by-side diff of what changed.
